...cable travels many kilometers? When you sell your cable scraps to the local scrap dealer, they are usually sold again to a larger scrap dealer. They, in turn, sell the cable to a trader. The trader then looks for an end processor to process the cable into copper. Again, this is often abroad, but we also process cable from traders. It is therefore possible that your cable still ends up with us, albeit via a detour. Therefore, choose the short supply chain and have your cable processed directly by us.

Circular recycling
The copper that comes from the cable waste can be reintroduced into the market as a pure raw material.
The plastic is currently recycled into a new product, but is not yet fully circular. We strive to also process plastic waste in a circular manner.
Quality control
At Kopuur, we stand for pure copper. This is only possible through the extensive work of our sorters who check every cable. In this way, we primarily maintain 100% pure copper that can be reintroduced as a pure raw material.
Water saving
Our machinery does not use water to separate the plastic from the copper. Everything is done mechanically. As a result, we have no contaminated wastewater.
This also ensures that our copper is dry before it goes to the smelter. Wet copper must first be dried.
Energy efficient
Using solar panels, we can use green energy for our machinery.
Energy consumption is also monitored via an EMS system to utilize our energy more efficiently.
